The iEQ45 GoTo German Equatorial Mount with Modified Clutch plus Hard Case, is the first new class of the finest astro-imaging mounts from iOptron. The iEQ45 now comes equipped with a modified DEC clutch for free spin OTA Balance and has a built-in 32-bit GPS. The iEQ45 has a payload of 45 pounds balanced and comes standard with a calibrated dark field illumination polar scope. The iEQ45 mount sits on a sturdy 2-inch stainless steel tripod and fits both Vixen and Losmandy-type mounting plates. Its lighter weight of only 25lbs makes this a very easy mount to carry.
